Shopping on line can be easy, simple and save you lots of money. It can also take a lot of your time, frustrate you, and result in unwanted purchases. Now the same can be said for regular high street shopping, but with the vast opportunity presented by the Internet it will pay you to spend a few minutes reading this and understanding how to better optimize your Jetix shopping experience:

1. Compare - without doubt the biggest advantage that the Jetix offers shoppers today is the ability to compare thousands of Jetix at a time. This is a great thing, but not necessarily all the time! Too much can be daunting at times so take advantage of the great comparison sites and where possible let them do the hard work for you.

2. Research - if it has been said it will be on the internet. Ignorance is no longer a justifiable reason for buying the wrong thing. Take the time to research in detail everything that you could possible want to know about

3. Testimonials - don't know anybody that has bought a Jetix? Wrong! If the Jetix is good the internet will let you know. Use the Internet as a friend and get testimonials before you buy.

4. Questions - Got a question about Jetix then search the Forums, FAQ's, Blogs etc. Don't be afraid to ask .....

5. Reputation - Never heard of the company selling Jetix? Don't worry, no reason why you should know every company in the world, but you know someone that does! Use the internet to find out what people are saying about Jetix and build up a picture of their reputation for sales, returns, customer service, delivery etc.

6. Returns - still worried that even after all of the above your Jetix wont be what you want? Check out the returns policy. There is so much competition now that someone, somewhere is bound to offer the terms that you are comfortable with.

7. Feedback - happy with your Jetix then let people know, after all you are depending on others people input in your buying decision, so why not give a little back.

8. Security - check for the yellow padlock on the Jetix site before you buy, and the s after http:/ /i.e. https:// = a secure site

9. Contact - got a question about Jetix, or want to leave a comment then check out the sites contact page. Reputable companies have them and respond.

10. Payment - ready to pay for your Jetix, then use your credit card or PayPal! Be aware of companies that don't accept them, there may be genuine reasons but given the huge amount of choice you have when buying online there is no reason at all not to buy via credit card or PayPal.

It was previously known as Fox Kids.

Organization and ownership The brand broadcasts in the United States as a Block programming of programming on the Toon Disney television channel.

Following the August 31st broadcast, ABC Family dropped the Jetix block, which continued to air on its exclusive home, Toon Disney.

Europe, Latin America In Europe and Latin America, the brand broadcasts as television channels in their own right, owned by subsidiary companies Jetix Europe based in Netherlands Hilversum and Jetix Latin America. These channels are branded as Jetix. All previous Fox Kids channels were rebranded to Jetix by January 2005. The United Kingdom and Ireland channel became Jetix (UK) on January 1, 2005 in television at midnight.

The European subsidiary, Jetix Europe NV, is listed on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange. However only 26% of the shares in free float, as Disney owns the remainder. The Latin American company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Disney.

Brian Donovan is the current Jetix announcer in Jetix America.

Canada In Canada, Family (TV channel), a long-time partner of Disney Channel's programming owned by Astral Media, began their own Jetix block on September 10, 2006, replacing the "Power Box" block. The Canadian Jetix block includes Get Ed, Oban Star Racers, W.I.T.C.H. and Power Rangers Mystic Force. Jetix airs from 6:03AM ET through 7:45AM ET on weekend mornings.

Fox Kids Before October 2001, Fox Kids was a 50-50 joint venture between News Corporation and Haim Saban. The ABC Family Channel was at that point known as the Fox Family Channel, and all the channels now branded Jetix were called Fox Kids. Fox Kids itself had been founded in as a merger between the US Fox Children's Entertainment and Haim Saban's Saban. In October 2001, Saban and News Corp sold the group to The Walt Disney Company. The brand announced the change of name to Jetix in January 2004.

Until 2002 in television, the brand had the rights to the children's programming slot on the Fox Broadcasting Company television network, however after the sale, that slot was sold to 4Kids Entertainment. The slot, initially known as the "FoxBox" is now named 4Kids TV. However some Jetix programs are broadcast on the American Broadcasting Company television network, under the ABC Kids (United States) brand. As of 2007, however, the only Jetix show to air on ABC Kids is the Power Rangers.

Notably, all shows produced before the sale to Disney in 2002 (including the pre-2002 Digimon and Power Rangers shows) still have the Saban and Fox Children's Productions logos (one example is The Tick which still has the latter logo). In Europe most old Fox Kids shows retain their original Saban and Fox logos, but the Buena Vista International logo is put after them (although, very often when such a show is aired on Jetix's European channels, the film stops right before it).

Shows aired on Jetix Magazine In the UK, Future Publishing publishes the official Jetix Magazine. Published every four weeks the magazine features puzzles and features based on the channel's characters plus a six page Power Rangers comic. The magazine also comes with a free DVD featuring shows from the channel.
